Come On Ring Those Bells/What Child Is This
This time of year I like to record some Christmas songs and this year I have chosen songs with no bass vocals so I could add my own.
First 2 songs are "Come On Ring Those Bells" and "What Child Is This"
Pics were taken by me.

In my view this is one Tim Riley's best songs and it wasn't even with Gold City but with a group called The Overtone's/ He was the guest lead vocal and probably one of his best and yet likely least known about songs as it is quite obscure.

Time to feature me singing a song that my bass singing fans I am sure will love. This is a great song with a great message that is near and dear to my heart, The sing is called "I Found Grace" and I basically turn it into a bass singers song.

An old Cathedrals classic that has me pulling out my inner Tim Riley.
My entire vocal range medley G5 to G-3

In a very rare medley of yours truly I carefully selected songs I have recorded over time that showcase my entire vocal range. The last 15 seconds need sub woofers or good headphones or you will not hear the note. This medley has everything for everyone who has followed me over the years and I thank all of you for following me. I will be posting songs more frequently.

Here is one of my favorite gospel songs for all you bass singing lovers out there. I sing all the bass on this one with a solid A0 at the end.
Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing

This is my lowest non vocal fry singing I have done and my lowest lead. since coming back my objective isn't on how low I can get(vocal fry) but being a singer with a low voice. I have always loved this rendition by N'Harmony but it needed a bass part so here we go.
This Old Sinner Testifies

I have been away from regular posting due to a serious illness so now that I am better than I ever I got back into my Gospel singing and am a better singer than ever before. I have chose to do away with almost all vocal fry. This song"This Old Sinner Testifies" Is a great song to return with that features a lot of pure improvised bass singing. With bass singing its not about how low you can go ...

A very rare solo lead from me using a range I don't use very much which is the mid range with the exception of the very end.
The Little Drummer Boy

You don't get a more classic version of this song "The Little Drummer Boy" Than this version I remember listening to on vinyl in the 80s as a little kid. I do improve bass and baritone on this to add some depth to my all time favorite Christmas song.
Do You Hear What I Hear

I sing the bass lead to the Christmas standard "Do You hear What I Hear" I wish I could find this version via a track instead having to dub over another lead but it works. Yes, that is also me at the end.

Me singing the vocals to this great rendition of "Mary Did You Know"
Nice!
JD is the lowest bass you will ever hear in chest voice 🤯
Foghorn Moment
So so deep.

Musically exquisite but I miss MartinLuther’s exquisite words as half of them are missing.
WOW!!!! Thank you.
Plis, alguien puede poner la letra del primer clip?? Y nombre del canto..🙏
A true and good song.
He should have voiced Darth Vader. XD
Not only his depth but you can understand every syllable. Listen up folks. This is REAL bass singing. You don't bury the other parts, you give them a good foundation to build their tones on. The bass voice is the most powerful of the octaves. Tim undetstood this more than any other bassist. Everyone is going to get their shot at showing out, but the tone of the blend (harmony) is what makes outstanding vocals. It's something most groups never get.
I miss ole JD

Nice songs
❤❤❤
What a beautiful song, I almost cry with this song. And JD and Elvis sing it perfectly.
This song brings back so many childhood memories of mine
Still the greatest voice to have blessed my ears.
That makes wanna stand up and Shout Hallelujah Lord Jesus!
Dave Hester is the better of the two. Dave has a lower voice than Gene does.
I never knew that mike Holcomb could sing so low, or so high for that matter!
Good song
That's amazing tho
Ok ok now the Bb0 hit me 🤯
Bro that’s amazing the high note is nice but the low stuff is freaky low 🤯
I admire the Tennor Voice because his capabilities to sing that high and clear is imaculate
He had a G0 at 0:26
Makes me miss my momma’s side of the family.
JD was the best bass singer ever.
JD is in a category all his own, but aside from him, Glenn Dustin is my hands down favorite. His voice is not just low, it has an amazing richness to it
Adam, Back in the 1960s I watched a black and white TV program with JD Sumner as the guest. The program's host and JD chatted for a while, and they talked about JD's low notes. I watched as JD went over and stood beside a piano. As the pianist would hit a low note on the piano, and JD would match it. He was not singing but matching the piano note for note, each time holding the note for several seconds. Then, after the pianist reached the last key on the piano, JD matched it and then kept on for four or five notes below. I remember saying at the time that the vibrations in his voice sounded like someone slowly dragging a stick along a picket fence.
I’m guessing it’s a subwoofer mic 🎤
Happy Angel Birthday JD 🤍🕊️
😶
What does this song mean?
gary miller def had some much lower stuff over the years-rip
superb.
Beautiful memories ❤
Ray Dean Reese not worthy to be in this because his voice is mainly sung with fry and very little power
Bro JDs you can physically feel it
Goodness….stick to the low stuff
Work on not sliding into your notes!!
Muy armónico,técnicamente perfecto y de gran capacidad y registro
